Temporary roof protection for monument in the centre of Ypres

In the centre of Ypres, part of the roof of a protected monument has been temporarily covered with a custom-made tarpaulin. This intervention was expertly carried out by Leicon, a company specialising in technical solutions for heritage protection and complex construction projects.

The tarpaulin used is resistant to wind and weather, and was completely custom-designed to optimally protect the monument without detracting from the historical character of the building. Thanks to Leicon's experience in working with valuable heritage, the tarpaulin was perfectly integrated with the existing roof structure.

This temporary protection measure is of great importance to prevent further damage to the monument, pending restoration work. Leicon is known for its careful approach and technical customisation, and with this realisation, it once again plays an important role in the preservation of the historical heritage in Flanders.

By choosing a specialised company such as Leicon, the partners involved emphasise the importance of quality, respect for heritage and sustainability in every phase of the restoration process.
